Také Box Mushroom Farm is a Gentilly based farm owned and operated by husband and wife duo Caroline Muneoka and Kyle Holt. Starting out as a pandemic project, Také Box began producing grow-your-own mushroom kits and medicinal mushroom tinctures before expanding into growing and distributing a variety of exotic mushrooms to New Orleans and its surrounding communities! Employing principles of indoor cultivation and the use of organic rye grain, soy hills, and oak hardwood sawdust, the farm specializes in Oyster mushrooms, Lion’s Mane, and King Trumpets among other varieties. The farm’s mission is to grow culinary interest in all types of mushrooms while raising awareness of a broad array of health benefits related to including mushrooms in the diet.
