Greaux the Good

Good for Farmers, Good for Families.

Greaux the Good gives Louisiana direct-to-consumer food purveyors (such as farmers markets, farm stands, and produce stands) the opportunity to create or expand a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) nutrition incentive program.

Greaux the Good provides eligible entities administrative and financial support to incentivize purchases made with SNAP/EBT and/or FMNP. Nutrition incentive programs attract shoppers utilizing benefit program dollars and empowers them to purchase more fresh foods directly from local producers. This mutual exchange between farmers and the community positively impacts the state's agricultural economy and increases local food access.

Farmers markets and other eligible entities interested in being a partner with Greaux the Good should complete the interest form to begin the process. To learn more about the program and current partners, click here to visit Greaux the Good’s website.
