From continuing to expand Greaux the Good to bring Market Match statewide, to hosting the first Louisiana Climate Convening as a founding member of the Louisiana Small Scale Agriculture Coalition, Market Umbrella has been hard at work increasing fresh food access and seizing new opportunities for small-scale agriculture.

These impactful efforts are made possible because of the generous support of our community. Shopping at our three weekly markets strengthens our vendors and local economy, while donations fuel vital food system support and access programs.

Welcoming Nori Guys to Thursday Mid-City Market

Please join us in welcoming Thursday's newest vendor, Nori Guys! Stop by the Greenway to try their unique sushi tacos and specialty wonton nachos—an exciting new flavor at the market! When not at market, you can find them at the Hibachi Grill on S. Broad Street.

Market Mommas Club Meetup This Sunday

Calling all Market Mommas Club participants - join us this Sunday in City Park for our December meetup! We’ll kick things off at 10:00 AM with a cooking demo and market tasting, where you'll get a recipe card to recreate the dish at home. Then, at 10:30, we’ll take a stroll around the park and distribute $10 Aetna Bucks for you and a family member. Don’t forget—these Aetna Bucks expire on December 3rd!

Figue Envie

Figue Envie’s last market of the holiday season will be this coming Sunday December 22nd. You can catch Mandy out with fig jam, fig preserves, and fig cakes! We look forward to welcoming her back come fig season in July for fresh figs as well.
