Coffee Vendor - Request For Applications

Coffee Vendor Request For Applications

Market Umbrella is the non-profit that runs the Crescent City Farmers Markets and a number of equitable fresh food access incentive programs. As market operators, one of our core objectives is to support new and small businesses in our area by connecting them to market opportunities, and also through various technical assistance efforts to support local business development. And of course, bringing products to consumers that they love!

Market Umbrella is seeking to onboard local, small scale coffee roasters as regular market vendors to sell roasted coffee beans for home consumption and prepared drinks at each of our markets. While traditionally beverage service has been performed in house, we are looking to increase customer utility by having coffee beans available for sale at market and bring high quality prepared coffee beverages from artisan producers to our markets.

We are open to having non-coffee food related items such as tea, pastries or prepared foods at market, and are open to discussing other items made by a prospective vendor however no reselling is allowed in CCFM markets.

  • Have an Occupational/General Business license in Orleans Parish and city and state sales tax certificates

  • Bring roasted beans as a grocery item, and may also bring drinks for immediate consumption
